Speech therapist was in today and she said that she had a bit of a dry mouth. She suggested we could use Biotene to help moisten her mouth, She seemed a bit confused today and is wondering when she is going back to the Marquis. What this was all about is she thought she had to go get Charlie the cat. I told her that Janie was going to come out here in Sept and bring the cat. She seemed to be happy about that.
She loves her room and the recliner it makes her feel like a big girl. She gets to pick what food she eats and how it is fixed. Jessica her physical therapist. Answering questions she is not hesitating and giving logical answers. She will be starting therapy tomorrow. She will be working with a very nice lady by the name of Rae. She is not someone who will work her with toughness and kindness. They are doing great with the toilet and she is getting responded to very quickly. They hate using the sara lift so they want to get her use of her helping with at least a two person transfer.
The grandchildren already think they own the place and are making friends all over the place. Mom is going to help them every Tuesday arrange flowers for the dining room.
As grandma said today, the flowers in the dining room are dead and someone needs to take care of it... SO, she is going to help out with the flowers... Such a difficult task, but I am glad someone is there to help them! :)
